Nicolas Papathanasiou is a professional chef who has achieved multiple diplomas and certificates in different European Institutes and culinary art schools, such as Le Cordon Bleu Paris in London, Academie Culinaire du Doubs in Besancon, Chef d’oeuvre in Athens and Central Saint Martins in London.

He is offering twenty years of experience, working in high level and prestigious environments including five star hotels and two michelin star restaurants, and has won national and international competitions through production of cooking and pastry art.

Nicolas Papathanasiou is a member of Chef’s Club Athens, highly recognised club in Greece and a certified chef of Food Safety and Hygiene (Hellenic food authority), HACCP. Areas of his expertise include multi national cuisine and specialty in bio/organic/gluten free/healthy/low fat/light Mediterranean Cuisine.

PRIVATE CHEF

Responsible for preparing meals in the clients home kitchens, based on their dietary needs and preferences. Handling all the menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, set up and serving, packaging and kitchen cleanup. Being on-call for snacks. Travelling with clients (business trips, other homes, holidays etc).

CATERING

Social or home catering service providing food and incidental services for a social affair, event or party. Delivering food to a client’s location, and may also cook and serve it on site. Coordinating the preparation, creation, delivery, and presentation of food for a private dwelling.

COOKING CLASSES

Offering an indigenous culinary experience featuring demonstration private cooking classes at clients’ location, using organic/bio, spray-free ingredients. Providing a full range of cuisine options (or dietary restrictions like gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, etc.) to understand the basic methods of nutrition and culinary art.

CONSULTING

Consultant services could include: designing/ developing restaurant menus, training staff, helping kitchens to become more efficient or cost effective, troubleshooting problems, product development for food retailers, program development like Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
